Sunny 106.1 Monday Tip

This weeks tip was on Massage. Make sure you book with a licensed massage therapist. Upon arriving at your appointment, make sure they give you a client history profile to fill out with and specific needs you make have, like: if you have had any accidents or injuries that the therapist should be aware of, also if you are allergic to any essential oils that maybe in their lotions or massage oil. Get undressed as far as you feel comfortable, make sure you communicate with your therapist to optimize your massage experience. Your body should only be exposed when they are working on that specific area. If you ever feel uncomfortable, talk to your massage therapist, if the problems are not adjusted, speak to the spa manager. Massage is therapeutic and should never be confused with sexual.
Types of Massages range from: Swedish,Deep Tissue,Prenatal,Hot Stone,Cranial Sacral, Lymphatic,Reflexology, You can also have 30 Minute, 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minutes.

Sunny 106.1 Monday Tip

Eyelash Extensions provides newly invented eyelash extensions for longer, fuller, very natural looking eyelashes. Our lashes are made to look identical to human lashes. Using a State-of-the-art application technique, one lash at a time is applied onto the existing lash. Eyelash extensions transforms your natural lashes into lush, beautiful, longer lashes. Our lashes are for professional application only and the entire procedure is very comfortable and relaxing. Best of all our lashes are weightless and you feel nothing on your own eyelashes. They're water-proof and you can shower, exercise and even sleep with them on! Eyelash extensions provides breakthrough lash technology with incredible staying power that will last up to 2 months. All lash extensions are semi-permanent, lasting several weeks, and must be gently cared for.

*AVOID OIL-BASED CLEANSERS, LOTION OR EYE MAKEUP REMOVERS.
These products will dissolve the eyelash bonding agent. Instead, use plain water or water-based gel cleansers. You may wish to use a Q-tip to gently remove eye makeup around the lash line.

*DO NOT USE WATERPROOF MASCARA.
The ingredients in this type of mascara will dissolve the bonding agent and your lashes will fall off.

*IF YOU FEEL YOU MUST WEAR MASCARA... apply only a "water-based" mascara on your lash tips, not at the base of your lashes. Application at the lash base may break the lash and/or create a clump of mascara in your lash line. We recommend using a water-based mascaras if necessarily needed to be applied.

Again, most women do not feel the need to apply any mascara at all. If you accidentally drop some powder on your lashes, simply remove with a Q-tip moistened in plain water in order for your dark lashes to reappear again.

*AVOID USING A MECHANICAL EYELASH CURLER.
Instead, use a heated eyelash curler sparingly. Prolonged heat to the lashes may cause them to come loose.

*SCHEDULE A "TOUCH-UP" PROCEDURE IN 2-4 WEEKS.
"Touch-ups" or "fills" are highly recommended in order to maintain a full, lush lash line. They take less time than an initial application and are at a reduced price.

Monday Health & Beauty Tip on Sunny 106.1

Murad has scientifically proven their product works to reduce your acne breakouts. Murad has a line for acne that will treat and repair your pores, skin and breakouts. Acne can be cause by many things such as oily skin, large pores, dry skin, hormonally changing or puberty. Some suggestions to help your breakouts: Change your pillow case often. Oils get on your pillow case and will help spread unwanted oils to your face. Wash your hands frequently and do not touch your face. Wash your face with Murad cleanser 2 time a day, treat/repair and moisturize your face. Do not pick your break outs (Zits) this will cause the fluids to spread to other areas of the face and cause more acne. You can have them extracted by a licensed Esthician, have a acne facial, chemical peel or microdermabrasion.
