Guerrilla Aid is a concept that Bart Barton founded GLOBAL COLORS after spending the greater part of a decade living and traveling around the world - wanting to build an organization that focussed on creating grassroots aid based on the skills of those who need the help. He has led projects on five (soon to be seven) continents, created the GC Sponsorship Program, and founded the My World Wish Campaign - all of which have developed his "Guerrilla Aid" style of volunteerism.
Global Colors is the representation of his dream - creating a way to empower individuals and organizations to become personally responsible and emotionally invested in our global family. He believes strongly in the approach of "just go in and get something done" to solve problems around the world, as too much aid gets lost in bureaucracy and behind red tape.
